1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LeagueKing ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LeagueKing is a league management platform that allows organizations to manage recreational sports leagues, including team registration, scheduling, RSVP tracking, score management, standings, and tournaments.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide a valid phone number to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • One account per person. Do not share your login credentials.

4. League Participation

  • League fees are set by the league commissioner and are non-refundable unless the commissioner decides otherwise.
  • Team captains are responsible for their team's registration, RSVP responses, and score submissions.
  • All participants must follow their league's rules and code of conduct.
  • Commissioners reserve the right to remove teams or players from their league.

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By submitting payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. LeagueKing does not store your credit card information. Refund policies are determined by your league commissioner.

6. SMS Communications

By using the Service, you consent to receive SMS messages related to league operations. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of non-essential messages by replying STOP, but essential notifications (login codes, matchup assignments) require an active account.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, announcements, etc.). By posting content, you grant LeagueKing a license to display it within the platform. You must not post content that is offensive, illegal, or violates others' rights.

8. Prohibited Conduct

  • Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Do not harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
  • Do not submit false scores or manipulate standings.

9. Limitation of Liability

LeagueKing is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any injuries, disputes, or damages arising from league participation. League commissioners are responsible for the conduct and safety of their events.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
